The best burrito I’ve had was in San Diego at a cheap looking bar with giant colorful margaritas. I’m embarrassed to say that I’ve only had a cha cha cha burrito at the airport, so I’ll have try the one in NE 😊

San Diego has incredible Mexican food. Have you ever been to Cuatro Milpas? No burritos but highly recommend next time you’re there!

A lil’ cheese in a burrito never hurt nobody! ¿Por qué no?

We used to eat quite often at Cha Cha Cha when there was a branch on SE Hawthorne. Unfortunately that branch is now closed.

Have you tried Sahuayo Tacqueria on NE Glisan? It’s the best!

I like this local place for Mexican—La Tia Juana. I don't know (or care) if they use humane beef or provide health insurance. The food is awesome though and the employees seem happy.

"Cost more than $12 (to ensure higher meat quality)"

Are you sure it ensures that or are you just paying more? One has to laugh at the $12 arepas on Hawthorne. They're like $4 in Gresham and are bigger and better.

No it definitely doesn’t guarantee high quality meat. I just get suspicious if a burrito is $7-8 when I know how much meat costs these days. That being said, would I pay $18 for a burrito? No.
